Photographer Dan Holland launches his new website
Dan Holland is one of the most promising photographers to come out of London in recent years. Famed for his impeccable iPhoneography skills and a consistent contributor to many online photoblogs, he was recently shortlisted in the eyeem.com competition amongst 3000 other contenders. We are happy to see his new website launch with what we believe to be an awesome and captivating selection of documentary style images.
Recode director Ricardo Porteus studied photography in Blackpool back in 1996 with Dan and tells us that he was always a talent in the making; “Dan was always the dark horse of the class, with a very unique style that I new in future years would develop into something special, we had a great laugh roaming the streets, clambering around dilapidated warehouses in the middle of the night, those hazy days/nights at College were a great time in our lives, Dan took a break from photography but the iPhone when it launched really gave him the tools to jump right back into his favoured repertoire style, seeing Dans images on a regular basis is like a great inspiration to me”
Keep your eyes peeled and take a look at the new site he just launched. We hope to feature future images from Dan on the upcoming Recode blog. But for now here are his online galleries:
